Ariela Caglio

As an Associate Professor of Management Accounting and Control, Ariela leverages more than 15 years of experience at Universit√† Bocconi and SDA Bocconi School of Management, as well as at other prestigious Institutions such as the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), the University of Manchester and the USI in Lugano. She is the Director of the Bachelor in International Economics and Management (BIEM) of Universit√† Bocconi. Her research interests primarily rest in performance measurement and control systems for inter-firm networks, the evolution of the accounting profession, integrated reporting and compensation design. She is currently working on and supervising a CIMA research project titled: Practicing Integrated Thinking and Reporting – Evidence from executives’ incentives and remuneration. She is particularly fascinated by studying fashion firms and the soccer industry. She has published for prestigious academic and professional outlets, both at an international and at a national level, and she sits in several editorial boards. She is member of the Standing Scientific Committee of the European Accounting Association (EAA).
