Meike Proost

Meike is part of the Sustainability team and in charge of the execution of the sustainability strategy in the business line General Insurance and Responsible Business Operation, ranging from suppliers to offices. She is part of the Annual Reporting Team and responsible for integrating financial and non-financial data. Meike is an active member of the GRI Global Leadership Group on Integrated Reporting.

Meike started working for Delta Lloyd in 2010 and has fulfilled several roles being a teammanager of Income Insurance before she made the switch to sustainability. She has a degree in business economics and a master degree in International Business and Executive Education at INSEAD.

Delta Lloyd offers products and services in insurance, pensions, investment and banking, serving commercial and retail clients. With four brands: Delta Lloyd, ABN AMRO Insurance, BeFrank and OHRA. In 2015, Delta Lloyd achieved a premium income of € 4 billion and a gross operational result of € 940 million. The shareholders’ funds amount to € 2.6 billion and Delta Lloyd manages investments worth € 70 billion. Delta Lloyd is listed at Euronext Amsterdam and Brussels, and included in the DJSI World and DJSI Europe.
