Roberto Mannozzi

After 15 years in KPMG, where became audit partner of the Rome office in 1998, Roberto joined at the end of the 1990’s Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane to face directly its deep turnaround experience committed in those years – under the relevant EU Directives – to separate its different running business (mainly, infrastructure and transportation) to set out single companies; in 2000 he became the first CFO of Trenitalia (the new born transportation company, fully owned by the Holding FS) and after six years he was called by the Holding company FS to manage the Group Planning and Control Department; then, in 2013, he started as FS Group Head of Administration and Tax, his still running office, where he is responsible, under the CEO, for the accounting, reporting and tax areas.

He is also the manager in charge of financial reporting of FS S.p.A. in application of Italian Law no. 262/2005 (“Provisions to protect asset management and regulate financial markets”) and of article 154-bis, paragraph 5 of Legislative decree no. 58/1998 (“Consolidated Finance act”).

Along his over thirty-year career he held important offices in several, different Board of Directors – inside and outside FS Group – he also attended as speaker many national and international conventions and was called as teacher in numerous professional courses.

In 1999 he joined ANDAF (the Italian Association of Financial Executives, part of the International Association of Financial Executives Institutes, IAFEI) becoming, in 2009, its Deputy Chairman and, eight months ago, the Chairman.
