Tony is Executive Vice President – External Affairs at CIMA.
Tony oversees external affairs strategy, driving the wider advocacy and differentiation of management accounting with key decision makers and influencers, including governments, industry bodies, employers, members, strategic partners and the media.
He leads the External Affairs team responsible for communications, reputation and public policy with oversight of core strategic programmes that are fundamental to our differentiation, including the Global Management Accounting Principles. He is also responsible for the content of FM, CIMA’s in house magazine for the C-suite and members.
Tony is a member of the FRC’s steering group placing culture at the heart of corporate governance. Previously, he advised Fiona Woolf, Lord Mayor of the City of London, on her thought leadership programme.
Tony has an MA Hons (Cantab) Economics and has held a number of senior leadership roles including Chief Executive in the UK not for profit sector.
